myHappyplace

Palmtrees sway,
Without purpose or pride
Sparkling waves,
Will shimmer and shine
Starry-eyed friends,
With moonlit smiles

A world away from all we know,
To a home away from home we’ll go
Set our sails, so out of sight
To lazy mornings and dizzy heights

Soft white and turquoise blue
A space that’s just for me and you

picture book of wasted time

When options dry and choices fail, you try and try, all in vain, day by day the seasons change, a world apart from all the rage, failure spreads, becomes a place, so deep so dark, where glories fade, burn your clothes and wipe your tears, sober and sane, it comes again, on a restless night you toss and turn, until you learn, that every road shall meet its end and all the lies wont make amends for all the bonds that we might break, in love and lust we cannot fake, smiling friends with open arms, whats yours is mine, a sheltered past, a picture book of wasted time.

TheGRandprize

To sight a view
No dream could dream
To start anew
In a brand new scene

Its been so long, since I last touched
Something I've wanted so much

The lonely child

To touch but to never taste
To see but to never feel
To hold but to never own
To live but to never belong

My favorite song you’ll never hear
Twinkles in my eye, about to disappear
With my secret space right by the sea
Where I held so close those dear to me
You’ll find just what you’re looking for
And on that day you’ll look no more
The days and months will pass me by
As I make my way, a lonely child
I’ll hold for you a sacred truth
I lost myself when I lost you

Without you I'm nothing.

Human beings are doomed to depend on other human beings; this dependence will only lead to disappointment. No human being can be considered 100% dependable, 100% of the time, such an idea is foolhardy at best. In essence every man, woman and child has an innate addiction to the undivided attention of another, there is a need to share our hopes and our fears, our victories and our defeats, our agonies and our ecstasies. Accomplishments are incomplete, without complete acceptance from our colleagues, friends or family. This dependence manifests itself in the very thread that binds two people together, the thing called love; interdependence creates the fabric from which love is cut, torn and bound together to create what we hope will be an endless flow of understanding and compassion.

“I’m unclean, a libertine,
and every time you vent your spleen
I seem to lose the power of speech,
You’re slipping slowly from my reach,
You grow me like an evergreen,
You’ve never seen the lonely me at all

…Without you I’m nothing.”
